The community of Dromolaxia is found 12 kilometres west of the town of Larnaca and very close to the salt lakes of Alyki.

Its population does not exceed 5000 habitants and geographically it is joined to the neighbouring community of Meneou, as they form the Municipality of Dromolaxia - Meneou.

At the village entrance, the mansion of the Municipality is found built.

The church under construction of the patron Saint of the community of Timiou Prodromou is very interesting.
